1. Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Lena Notes: Notes & Planner (the “App”), related support services, privacy requests and this privacy webpage. The App is developed and operated by Lenatek Yazılım Medya Limited Şirketi (“Lenatek”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Lena Notes is a productivity application that allows users to create and organize rich-text notes, categories, voice notes, images and saved links; set reminders; recover recently deleted notes; create backups; restore note data; export notes; and display selected note information in a home-screen widget.

The App is designed so that ordinary note content is stored locally on the user's device. Our goal is to process only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested note-taking functions, operate advertising where enabled, diagnose technical problems and respond to support/privacy requests.

2. Local Note Storage and On-Device Processing

This means that text notes, categories, local voice-note references, attached images, saved links, reminder configuration and similar note data can be processed locally to provide the functions you use.

Local storage does not mean that the App never uses the internet. Advertising, technical SDKs, support communications, app-store services, links you open, or sharing destinations may use network communication independently from the storage of your note content.

If you clear App storage, uninstall the App or delete local note data without a valid backup, locally stored content may become permanently unavailable.

3. Information the App May Process

4. Text Notes, Rich Text, Colors and Categories

Lena Notes allows you to create and edit text notes using supported formatting such as bold, italic, underline and bullet lists.

You may also choose colors and categories to organize work, personal, school or other notes. These organizational choices and the note content itself are intended to be stored locally as part of your App data.

Notes can contain highly sensitive information. Avoid storing passwords, one-time authentication codes, full payment-card numbers, government identification numbers or other critical secrets unless you understand the security characteristics of your device and the App.

5. Voice Notes and Microphone Access

If you choose to record a voice note, Lena Notes may request microphone permission and process audio while the recording feature is actively being used.

Microphone access is intended to create the audio note requested by you. It is not intended for continuous background listening unrelated to a user-initiated recording.

Voice recordings may contain sensitive conversations or background sounds. Review your surroundings before recording and make sure you have any consent required by applicable law before recording other people.

You can revoke microphone permission through Android settings, but voice-note recording will then be unavailable.

6. Photos, Gallery Media and Saved Web Links

Lena Notes may allow you to attach photos from your gallery to a note. The App may access the image you select so it can display or associate that image with the note.

Where Android provides a system media picker or limited photo access, the App may use those controls so you can grant access to selected media rather than your entire library.

You may also save web links inside notes. When you later open a saved link, the website or browser used to open it may process information under its own privacy policy.

We do not intentionally provide the contents of your attached photos or saved note text to advertising providers merely because an advertisement is displayed in the App.

7. Reminders, Alarms and Notifications

If you create a reminder, the App may store the selected date/time and the related note identifier so it can notify you at the requested time.

Depending on Android version, notification permission or alarm-related platform behavior may affect whether a reminder is delivered exactly as configured.

You can disable notifications through Android settings. Doing so may prevent reminders from being shown.

8. Backup and Restore

Lena Notes may allow you to create a backup of App data and later restore that backup. Backup content can include notes, categories, preferences and other data supported by the backup format.

The exact backup destination can depend on Android version and the App implementation. A backup may be stored in a user-selected file location or another storage location made available through the operating system.

Treat backup files as sensitive because they may contain the contents of your notes. If you copy or upload a backup to a third-party storage service, that service may process the file under its own privacy terms.

Restoring a backup can replace or merge local App data depending on the implementation. Keep independent copies of important data before performing restore operations.

9. Trash, Recovery and Activity Log

Lena Notes may move deleted notes to a trash area before permanent deletion so that accidentally deleted content can be restored.

A note in the trash may still remain on the device until it is permanently deleted or the trash is cleared.

The App may also display note activity metadata such as when a note was created and when it was last edited. This information is intended to help you understand the history of your own notes.

10. Exporting and Sharing Notes

Lena Notes may allow you to export or share a note as plain text or as an image, such as a .txt or .jpg file.

When you intentionally share a note through Android's share interface, the selected destination app or service receives the content you chose to share and processes it under its own privacy terms.

11. Home-Screen Widget

The App may offer a home-screen widget that displays selected note information without requiring you to open Lena Notes.

Widget content can be visible to anyone who can see or unlock your device screen. Avoid placing highly sensitive notes in a widget if other people may have physical access to your device.

Widget configuration may store the selected note reference and display preferences locally.

12. Device Permissions

Depending on Android version and the features you use, Lena Notes may request permissions or access related to:

• Microphone: to record a voice note when you choose that feature;
• Photos/media: to select a photo to attach to a note;
• Notifications: to deliver reminder notifications;
• Files/storage selection: where needed for backup, restore or export using Android-supported mechanisms;
• Network access: for advertising, platform services, support or other enabled online technical functionality;
• Other narrowly scoped access: only where necessary for a disclosed App feature.

You can review and revoke Android permissions at any time. Revoking a permission may limit or disable the feature that depends on it.

13. Location, Personal Information and Device Identifiers

Ordinary note-taking does not require Lena Notes to continuously know your precise physical location. However, the current Google Play Data Safety disclosure states that Location, Personal info and Device or other IDs may be collected, and that Location and Device or other IDs may be shared with third parties.

Depending on the services enabled in the production App, this can include:

• approximate location inferred from IP address;
• advertising identifiers;
• app instance or device/app identifiers;
• personal information voluntarily supplied in support or privacy communications;
• technical information used by an advertising, security or measurement provider.

Lena Notes does not need continuous precise GPS tracking to create, edit or display a locally stored text note.

14. Advertising

The current Google Play listing indicates that Lena Notes contains advertising. Advertising providers may process information needed to deliver, measure, limit and protect advertisements.

This may include:

• advertising identifiers or similar app/device identifiers;
• IP address and approximate location derived from network information;
• device model, Android version, language and App version;
• ad impressions, clicks or other interactions;
• fraud-prevention and security signals;
• consent state and advertising/privacy choices.

Where required by law or platform rules, consent may be requested before personalized advertising or certain identifier-based processing occurs.

15. Diagnostics, Crash Reporting and App Performance

Depending on technical services enabled in the App, limited diagnostic information may be processed to identify crashes, reminder failures, backup/restore errors, media-loading problems or compatibility issues.

This can include:

• App and Android version;
• device model and basic hardware information;
• crash and exception information;
• ANR/freeze information;
• voice/media processing errors;
• backup/restore or export failures;
• technical events and pseudonymous identifiers.

Diagnostic services should not require the full private contents of a note merely to report a technical crash.

16. Data Retention

Locally stored notes, voice recordings, image attachments, categories, reminders and App preferences may remain on your device until you delete them, clear App storage or uninstall the App.

Notes moved to trash may remain there until permanently deleted or until the trash is cleared.

Backup files stored outside the App can remain in the destination you selected until you manually remove them.

Third-party advertising or technical providers may apply their own retention periods to information they process.

Support/privacy communications sent directly to us may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and document compliance.

17. Security

Lena Notes is designed to keep ordinary note content locally on the device, but local data is only as secure as the device and storage environment in which it is kept.

The current Google Play Data Safety disclosure states that data is not encrypted. For that reason, this Policy does not claim that every item of data handled by every SDK, network path, backup location or third-party provider is always encrypted in every circumstance.

Protect your device with a screen lock, keep Android updated, use trusted backup destinations and avoid storing highly sensitive credentials in ordinary notes.

18. Children’s Privacy

Google Play currently lists Lena Notes as suitable for all ages. The App is a general productivity tool and is not designed to request unnecessary personal information from children.

Parents or guardians should supervise a child's use of voice recording, photo attachments, sharing and backup features where appropriate.

19. International Data Transfers

Advertising, platform or technical service providers may operate in countries different from your country of residence. Information processed by those services may therefore be transferred or processed internationally.

Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards, appropriate legal or contractual mechanisms may be used.

20. Your Privacy Rights and Controls

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding identifiable personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent.

You can also manage much of Lena Notes directly by:

• editing or deleting notes;
• permanently deleting notes from trash;
• deleting voice notes or image attachments where supported;
• changing or disabling reminders;
• removing home-screen widgets;
• deleting backup files you created;
• revoking microphone, media or notification permissions;
• clearing App storage or uninstalling the App;
• managing Android advertising/privacy controls;
• contacting us using the privacy email address below.

21. Privacy Requests

Local notes and media

Notes, voice recordings, image attachments, reminders and other locally stored content should generally be managed directly in the App or by clearing App storage/uninstalling the App.

Backup files

Backup files stored outside the App remain under the control of the storage destination you selected and may need to be deleted manually from that location.

Third-party technical or advertising data

Information independently controlled by Google, an advertising provider or another third party may need to be managed using that provider's own privacy controls.

22. Third-Party Platforms and Service Providers

Depending on App version, region and enabled functionality, Lena Notes may interact with third-party services used for Android distribution, advertising, consent management, sharing or technical diagnostics.

These can include categories such as:

• Google Play / Google Play services for Android distribution and platform functionality;
• Advertising providers where ads are enabled;
• Consent-management providers where required for advertising/privacy choices;
• Technical/crash-reporting providers where such services are enabled;
• Apps/services selected through Android sharing when you intentionally export or share a note.

Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy policies when acting independently. Review the privacy information provided by Google Play and the relevant service provider.

23. Legal Bases Where Applicable

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on one or more of the following:

• Performance of requested functionality: to create, save, organize, record, remind, back up, restore, export or display notes when you choose those functions.
• Consent: where required for microphone, media access, notifications, personalized advertising, tracking or optional processing.
• Legitimate interests: to maintain security, prevent fraud, diagnose technical issues and improve reliability where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Legal obligation: where processing or retention is required by applicable law.

24. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Lena Notes' note features, backup behavior, permissions, SDKs, advertising setup, data practices, legal requirements or app-store rules change.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when this Policy changes. If the App later introduces cloud synchronization, user accounts, server-side note storage, encrypted cloud backup or additional data-sharing functionality, this Policy and the relevant store declarations should be updated accordingly before or when those changes take effect.
